Kuching Airport

I come here by flight from the Penang city . You can also get flight from the Kuala lumpur and malacca city towards here . Sarawak has some stringent rules which has to be followed by Foreigners as well as the Malaysian people also . When you come in sarawak you have to book a return ticket to peninsular malaysia or onward journey tickets to another country . Also you have to go through the immigration .

I don’t know that matter so When I went to check-in with my airlines , they asked me for the return ticket . Frankly speaking , I don’t have any return ticket , so . I have to book a return ticket on the spot towards the peninsular malaysia . I talked to some western foreigners , they said they are not asked for a return ticket . Might be for the weak Indian passport they asked for the return flight ticket . Now a days there is only air connectivity between the peninsular Malaysia and the Sarawak Malaysia . Previously there was passenger ships but now not available .

Kuching at a glance :

Public transport is almost non existent in the Kuching city . You will get very few buses and they are very infrequent . Mostly I saw public buses running without any passengers . It is one of the oldest and premium travel agency in Kuching . At my first glance , it looks like , this city has much less population density than the peninsular Malaysia cities . People are more relaxed and talked to strangers also . It also has large buildings inside the city . Here chines influence is more than Indian .

After that finally , I reached to my hostel , but there is no receptionist so , I have to wait very long . One thing I have to say that hostel doors are only unlocked by the digital keys . The Hostel room is very big and cost 20 RM per bed . It was a gigantic 20 bed mixed dorm with kitchen and washing machine also .
