Kuala Lumpur

Kuala lumpur is the city of high rises . In this city you can see lots of tall building . I visited the city in august 2022 . In that time , in every evening there was rain though the roads are very nice and there was no problem for the rain . There is lots of bridges and underpasses inside the city and every buses and trains are Air Conditioned . Kuala lumpur airport is the hub for train , bus , taxi , and aieroplane . In the different floor of this building there is different transport system . Even the bus station is totally air conditioned and have airport like facility . For riding any public transport you need a Myrapid card . With this card you can ride a bus , train , metro and monorail . Though the city is world class , still this city is affordable and the price for food and stay is pretty basic , like most of the cities of India .

You can say the city is really cosmopolitian . It is the city which is the combination of different cultured people . It is mainly the combination of three major cultured people Tamil Indian , Chines and the Malayasian people . Mostly you can see Indian culture in the Little India and Chines culture in Chine Town , Pedling street . Batu cave is very famous among the tamils and God Murugan is worshipped here where God Guan di temple is a chines temple where deity Guan di was worshipped who is the God of Health , prosperity and wealth . National mosque is established after the independence of Malaysia and it is one of the modern mosque in Malaysia . Except those religions , also there is different religious people like buddhist , christians and other religions people .

Batu Cave

Batu cave is a limestone cave and all the time from the roof of this cave water is pouring drop by drop . Water errosion makes this huge hanging rocks from celing . For going to the main temple of God Murugan you have to climb through this steep stairs . Annual Thaipusam festival is celebrated in this cave by the tamil Community . It is the largest Hindu festival celebrated outside India .

National Mosque

After Malaysia’s independence from the British in 1957 they planned to build a Mosque and this mosque was build in the year 1967 . This mosque is totally build by concrete and inside the mosque there is a huge dome . And the floor have been covered by beautiful designed carpet . You should be dressed according to the muslim dress code to enter the mosque otherwise you have to were their unique all covered dresses . This happens with me as I was wearing a half pant . You need a minimum full leg covered dress .

Guan Di Temple :

Guan Di temple is the oldest temple in Kuala lumpur which was first build in 1888 . It is a temple in Taoism and dedicated to god guan di who was the God of Righteousness and Loyalty . In the older time when there was a family dispute then people used to come here for a mediation . He is also the god for Health , wealth and prosperity .

Sri Maha Mariamman Temple :

This is another old religious temple in kuala lumpur which was build in 1873 by a prominent tamil family . The main deity in this temple is Devi mariamman and who was life giving and rain goddess for Tamil Hindus .

Petronas Twin Tower :

It is world’s tallest twin tower and was the tallest building in the world between 1998 to 2004 . It’s height was 451.9 meter . In this tower also has the very big mall KLCC . You can go to the top by paying a fees of 80 MYR . This was one of the iconic building in Kuala lumpur .

Merdeka 118 :

Now Merdeka 118 is the tallest building in the Whole Malaysia which is 678.9 meter and petronas tower lost the position with it . It is also the second tallest building in the world after the Burj Khalifa . It has a very unique structure where in the top there is a long spike structure . It is the second tallest structure in the whole world just after the burj khalifa .

Menara Kuala Lumpur :

It is one of of the iconic structure in kuala lumpur . It’s height is 421 meter which is a tele communication tower . In 335 meter there is a observatory deck in this building which can be accessed by a lift . There is also a revolving restaurant .

Merdeka Squre:

Merdeka Square is the Independence square in Malaysia where is the independence day parade is organished and also the whole festival is organished here . Malaysia got it’s independence from British in the year 31st august 1957 .

Central Market :

It is my favourite among all the areas in Kuala lumpur .. It is the place for sovounior , food , culture music , painting and different handicraft items . In those shops you can see different items used in Malayasian culture .

Petaling Street :

It is the busiest hawkers market in kuala lumpur . It is situated in the china town in the kuala lumpur . This is also the place where you can experience the Chines culture .

Little India :

Little India is a place in Kuala lumpur where you can get the indian food , dresses and have a flavour of Indian culture . IN every major city in Malaysia there is a little India .

Summary :

Malaysia is the city , mix of the Indian , chines and Malay people . It is also the city of Highrises . It has too many tall building . There is lots of tamil hindu temple , different Mosque and Taoism temple . It is also the food hub of different cultures . Roads are very good and everyday there is rain in the city . Nearest Batu caves is one of the major attraction for this city .
