Angkot is a public transportation mode in Indonesia that is short for “angkutan kota”, which means “city transportation”. Angkots are privately operated minibuses or minivans that are often used in remote areas and between smaller towns. They are also a primary form of transportation within cities, where they are often operated as share taxis.
